Sad news for the tennis world and all those who loved the man and his writing - Rex Bellamy died this morning at his home in Midhurst, Sussex. Rex, charming & courteous & a great colleague, wrote incomparably on tennis through the 1960's to 1980's for The Times and The Sunday Times.

Beautiful. Martin Daubney physically unable to form the words required to break it to the viewers of GB News that their own poll shows that 55% would now vote against Brexit 👌😂

So sad to hear the news of John Motson. I started with him in BBC Radio 50 years ago. We knew then that he had a special gift. He broke the mould of football commentary. RIP John.

Zverev who published in 2022 that he has type 1 diabetes since he is 3 years old and started a foundation was asked in german press about the discussion today. He said other than at ATP tournaments here he is not allowed to inject Insulin on court "cause it looks weird" answer👇

After all the extraordinary drama of the last few days, suddenly Andy’s career is over. It’s been a privilege to commentate on his journey. I’ve covered plenty of sports but I’ve never seen another British athlete who wanted it more or deserved such phenomenal success.

I was worried mens tennis would never be the same after the Roger, Rafa and Novak era. Watching Sinner and Alcaraz go at each other, those worries are over. This is a truly scary level. They probably won’t win the same number of slams but they’ve certainly raised the bar again.

America discussing the merits of Mike Terrico and Jim Nantz at the Masters. One was doing radio, the other television. 2 very different disciplines. USA are fortunate to have the best 2 presenters/commentators in world sport. Both are exceptional.

So Liverpools coronation and the F.A Cup semi kick off at exactly the same time. WTF! Do the F. A and the Premier League not talk to each other. You couldn’t make it up.
