Sat 22-Apr: Road A809 closed due to grass fires. Some imaged earlier in day by Sentinel-2. It may not be high summer but there is still the risk of fire. If you are out and about Stirling High School take care and follow the advice from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service – Your Safety firescotland.gov.uk/media/1136340/…

#wildfire #Scotland. Crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service continue to fight fire near Cannich, Beauly, SW of Inverness. Imaged by Sentinel-3 STSLR and OLCI sensors on 30-May. 🐧🇦🇶 The first spring image of the Dawson Lambton Glacier Emperor Penguin colony from Sentinel 2 (20-Sep-23) shows the colony has survived the passage of iceberg A81. As expected no sign of Halley Bay colony.(Data Sentinel Hub , ESA Earth Observation Copernicus EU). @BBCAmos
