We know Spring Break is supposed to be a break from learning, but if you come to The Sherman Museum you can see this school desk from St. Joseph's Academy. The school was started in Sherman in 1870 and lasted until 1966 - the desk is from around 1881.

Meet Raptorex kriegsteini. Think of him as an 8 foot T-rex. This is one of several replica skulls we have on display during Dino Days. Don’t forget to signup for Dino Academy and Night at the Museum.

On this day (Feb. 19) in 1878, Thomas Edison patents the phonograph. About 100 years later, Montgomery Ward produces this cabinet version - which you can see on display at The Sherman Museum.
