A big hundred from Chris Gibson setup the 4s for 273-8. The youth stepped up once again and there was a half century for Harry Blunt and 3 wickets for Kerad Atkin Willmore to go alongside a 4fer for Jason Scrimshire. A big win for the 4s!

A big win in the 3s quest for survival as we reached a massive 292-4 at Morley Lane. Half centuries for Lister and Moose the biggest contributions. In reply Carillon gave it a good go, reaching 246-7 themselves in a frenetic and entertaining chase.

Second best for the 1s this week after a long trip to Oakham. Wickets for Gossy, Kammy and Sam in the first innings and it was game on for a long time thanks to Greers and Sam, but a lower order collapse saw Oakham get the W.

Chris Gibson's 3rd Shepshed ton sees him rise to the top of the podium this week. An all round contribution of 62 and three wickets sees Sam Weir into second, and 87 from Jake Lister earned third spot. Thanks to One Stop Shoe Repairs for sponsoring the awards this week!

Home entertainment this week comes from the 1s who host Kibworth and the 4s who welcome Hinckley Amateur to PBL. On the road we have another encounter with Twycross and a short trip to Long Whatton. All support welcomed!

Just a few days after turning 63, Phil Shaw tonned up to take the 4s to the win and keep their promotion hopes alive. A remarkable performance, well supported by 50* for Big E.

A massive 288-7 was too many for the 3s despite 53 from youngster Jake Adam. The 3s are out of the relegation places though and will look to get back to winning ways at home to GNG next week.

Avy signed off for Shepshed with a magnificent 5-19 to setup another win for the 2s. A tense low scorer saw the 'Shed get over the line with 2 wickets left to maintain their 100% record.

An excellent 4-39 from Cam Smith clawed Kibworth back to 257, but this still proved too many for the 1s at Morley Lane. Corey Chantrill leading the chase with 80.

Some more great performances this week including our 10th century of the season from Phil Shaw, a sign off 5-19 for Avy, and 80 unfortunately in vain from Corey. Thanks to KroyAir for their continued support.

Week 15 sees the 1s welcome Sileby Town to Morley Lane and the 4s hosting Shree Sanatan at Pudding Bag. On the road, the 2s will want to get back in the groove away at Mountsorrel and the 4s make the short trip to Broom Leys. All support appreciated!

Pudding Bag Lane produced another high scoring thriller as the 4s chased 263 in just 32.3 overs! Phil Warrington and Flo Conn providing the perfect platform for the chase sharing 117 for the first wicket, with 46 from Harry Blunt continuing the momentum.

The 3s finished on the wrong side of a thriller, losing by just one run away at Broomleys.

The 2s promotion charge marched on thanks to a gritty display away at Mountsorrel. Another half century and 3 wickets from AK, plus middle order runs from Chris Gibson and Tom Digby securing another 25 points.

A fine home performance saw the 1s return to winning ways against Sileby Town. 88 from Dean Scaysbrook with great support from Sam Weir and Corey Chantrill got us up to 294, and the Sileby chase never got going thanks to 4-33 with the new ball from Chris Guest.

3 fantastic performances in 3 fantastic wins see AK, Scaz and Flo all return to the Player of the Week podium. One of the toughest weeks for the panel with a number of great performances across all of the sections this week. A huge thank you to Samworth Bros Community Fund.
