A simple act of kindness can have a huge impact. He didn’t have to stop. He didn’t have to give her the jersey. He made my wife’s day and made her feel like the most important person in the world. #ChooseKindness

District wide convocation to start the school year. 2 hours of sitting in the bleachers of a gym resulted in some mi or back spasms for me for the rest of the day. I guess I might have to start the year on either “injured reserve” or “physically unable to perform” list 😉

At a high school homecoming game. During the anthem 4 senior football players helped bring out flags of the 7 tribal nations behind the American Flag. Now it’s halftime and the homecoming queen is marching in a pink dress because she’s also head of the drum corps.

Today my Math Lab students made beadwork earrings. Before this we did a lesson on Rigid Transformations in Native American beadwork and a lesson on the history of beadwork. Here are some pictures of their work today.
