Y2K is a fun little film filled with comedy, practical fx and plenty of 2000s nostalgia. It's a simple premise that works and doesn't take itself seriously which helps push the pacing along. Prepare to laugh at the pure wtf am I watching nonsense.

The Damned is a slow period piece with a haunting score and an interesting story involving a draugr. It won't blow your socks off, but I enjoyed the simple story of survival in the cold harsh North. This won't be for everyone, but it's a nice folk horror to start the new year.

Just wow...crazy immersive experience. This movie is quick, brutal and intense. It pulls no punches and gives you a small glimpse into the window of war.

Got a chance to see this little wild flick in the theater! It's a Cinderella story meets Grimm fairy tales with a twist of The Substance. It's body horror, body fluids and bodily mutilation. Definitely give this a watch if you get a chance. It'll stream on Shudder soon, I'm sure.

Oh dear...

40 Acres Post apocalyptic survival thriller. I went in blind and thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I've seen worse, but it felt like more of a thriller than a horror.

Saw it last night and loved it. It's not perfect, but I had a great time. Definitely worth the theater watch.
