Fabulous day in Rome - Vatican City, Sistine Chapel - having my pocket picked!!! Managed to drag the guy off train and get it back after a bit of a rumpus (not my style) but hats off to him, very clever as had I not checked my pocket, I wouldn’t have noticed! Onto Genoa next!

Pisa is ace! But a bit of a one trick pony! 😄

Have now stopped to relax and recharge for a few days in a beautiful little place called Carry-le-Rouet. Of all the places we have visited recently this is the most peaceful and tranquil. Sometimes - that’s just what you need!

Sorry if I offend anyone but Marseille is a graffiti covered, dirty place where there is an air of intimidation on every corner! Of all the places we have visited, we felt the most vulnerable and disappointed! Had planned a whole day but left on the next available train.

I think I have just had a scam email requesting payment for Microsoft It is asking for £84.99 to renew my Microsoft 365. I assume this is a scam as that would mean the cost has gone up by 58% from £59.99 last year? Can you confirm please !
