Dansby is a 3.7 fWAR player this year and 4.9 fWAR player last year Just because he isn’t the 25 HR, .770 OPS player that we thought doesn’t make him a bad signing. The number of runs he has saved is likely more than the runs he would have created with those offensive numbers

For sure PCA. Now that Seiya looks like a full-time SH, it will be tough to get to 5 WAR. This also makes me wonder if he will be trade bait this offseason

It’s not that I WANT to trade him. He’s one of my favorites. But when you look at the biggest issue for this offense (lack of power), he’s part that problem. Plus, with Matt Shaw playing the way he is, you have to find a way to give him a shot. Much higher ceiling than Nico
