No major comicbook films are out. Movie was well-reviewed. It starred an actor who was one of the faces of last year’s major hits and another actor with a prominent role in the other major hit of 2023. All the excuses are gone. Can we do something now?

All the folks who kept screaming "superhero fatigue!!!" last year have really been pretzeling themselves finding other reasons to explain why the box office for the first May in over 20 years without a superhero movie has had the worst box office of that month in just as long.

I feel like this movie is required viewing for anyone who thinks a below average MCU flick is the worst thing ever just as a reminder of how truly terrible comic book films can actually be.

The reason they’re selling so well is because they’re $10 instead of the usual price of a trade paperback comic which is around $25 Almost like the price of comics is way too high and that’s been the primary problem for people getting into comics the entire time

Gavin deserves all the flowers for being a great artist but also, by all accounts a great guy. He’s done an AMAZING job on Birds of Prey, including getting in an obscure Comics Pals Easter egg. IYKYK!
