Our VPA 2022 recipients continued their voyage in France to learn more about Canada's contributions to the First World War. Remembrance Day is a time to reflect and honour those who served during times of war, conflict and peace. #canadaremembers #lestweforget🌹

There couldn’t be a more fitting venue for a Remembrance Day ceremony. Right at the mouth of the Halifax Harbour where thousands of sailors have set out to sea. The HMCS Fredericton was there and performed a 21-gun-salute.

You know who I have empathy for The Globe and Mail? The 33 million Canadians who did their part, suffered the necessary losses and disappointments, hardships and inconveniences so we might all get back to life - and did so stoically, with dignity and true compassion for their fellows.

5 yrs ago today I had a moderate stroke from a vertebral artery tear caused by a chiropractic neck adjustment. After 6 days in hospital, I couldn’t drive for a month and needed a walker and cane. I’m grateful each day for my recovery. Don’t let anyone touch your neck friends. ❤️
