Today we honored the life & service of Ret. Col. Frederick “Fred” Mills! He served the citizens of Missouri for over 35 yrs! He championed the phrase “We are Ladies & Gentlemen of the Highway Patrol.” He served as Colonel from 1993-1997.

Rest In Peace, Officer James Muhlbauer and K-9 Officer Champ.   The partners were killed in the line of duty Wednesday night when a vehicle crashed into them while they were on patrol.   Muhlbauer was a 20-year veteran of KCPD, while K-9 Champ was with us for one year.   1/2
