‘The most perfect house to survive from the middle ages’ - Haddon Hall near Bakewell. Didn’t know of it before and so pleased we stumbled across it - great place to visit.

Just completed the 14km Balcombe Viaduct and Ardingly Reservoir walk! It was a bit muddy but enjoyed the sights and sounds of springtime.

Explored Porto Venere this morning taking in the sights of Byron’s Grotto, the Chiesa di San Lorenzo and local life!

Staying in La Spezia today enjoying the sunshine. Climbed up to Castello di San Giorgio and took in amazing views of the city and its port. ☀️ 🇮🇹

Having a bite to eat on the balcony before the football starts ⚽️ 🥅

Today we’re exploring more of the Ligurian coast starting in Lerici with it’s formidable castle. Later we’ll be walking along the coast to San Ternazo!
