Ms Gallivan’s Science of Ice Cream session Juniper Ridge Int was a huge hit today.

Students Juniper Ridge Int had the chance to connect with our Guidance Counsellors today to learn some study skills and ways to cope with stress. They also had St.John ambulance therapy dogs stop by ❤️

Thank you SucSeed for coming to Juniper Ridge Int. Students planted some microgreens and learned about types of farming, how to grow at home and how far their food travels.

Students Juniper Ridge Int also had the opportunity to be guided through the design & construction of a traditional mummers hobby horse with members of Heritage NL and the Mummers Festival. They each walked away with their own hobby horse!

To end off La Semaine de la Francophonie Juniper Ridge Int students displayed their French monument designs that were part of a design/build challenge throughout the week.

Grade 8’s Juniper Ridge Int started building their own plant and animal cell models today. The room may have gotten quite messy but the fun they had while designing their models made it worth it.

Tomorrow Juniper Ridge Int we kick off our last Spirit Week of the school year. Tomorrow is Adam Sandler Day & there will be Adam Sandler Trivia during Junior High lunch in room 203!
