Great rescue, SAFD E17 & M17! There were 3 dogs stuck in a small drainage tunnel. Crews were able to acquire a dog leash from a nearby civilian, make a girth hitch out of it, and were able get the dogs head through the leash and pull each one out out. Awesome!

Today there was closure to the legal case in the arson death of Firefighter Scott Deem. In an agreement, a sentence of 30 years was issued for arson and murder. While this is the closure of the legal proceedings in this incident, some wounds will never heal.
