And just like that…organic electronics make their way into Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MIT-MRL and DMSE at MIT! With the help of Sanket Samal, trying to spread the excitement I felt when JEONGmei first introduced me to conjugated polymers, I think it’s working! Stay tuned for OMSELab!

Open-source tutorials and softwares are such valuable resources for graduate students! A couple of YouTube videos, a lot of playing around, and here we are! Proud to have my first Blender graphic chosen as a cover image for MRS Communications, Vol.12 No.5. 🥰

Organic electronics keep on improving! Researchers at Northwestern University have found a creative way to make polymer-based transistors faster and higher performing than ever before. So impressive that Camille Cunin, PhD candidate in my lab, had to write about it!

Just out in the journal Small: 1st research paper by the OMSELab Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)! Congrats all coauthors (Sanket Samal, Heejung, Camille Cunin, Geon Gug) for getting this done while setting up the lab!! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/sm…

Over the week, 1) attended the Bao group reunion, 2) organized an electrochromic symposium in San Francisco, 3) chaired 38th H C Brown symposium, and 4) got promoted to full professor. At MRS, five students presented, they all did a great job, way better than I did as a student.

If you are currently using n-doped poly(benzodifurandione) (n-PBDF) for your research, there is good news. We have developed a cost-effective and scalable approach without the need to carry out dialysis for purification. With a catalytic amount of SeO2 and a simple centrifuge and

Excited to share the latest from my group! We investigate how highly ordered conjugated polymers (eg. Isoindigo derivatives) manage to accommodate mixed ionic-electronic conduction in their solid state! Congrats Rebecca and team! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

I hope this is the method ever needed for the synthesis of n-PBDF. It removes all the barriers: purifications-free , cost effective, and scalable. Catalytic Polymerization of n-n-PBDF) Using Parts Per Million (ppm) Level of Molybdenum Trioxide. Try it first and thank us later!
