On an almost daily basis, I come across a VC firm with a manifesto, but no portfolio. GPs with no clear exits or obvious link to capital. No info on fund size. Nice branding exercise, not sure any of them help founders. If you are raising, do a lot of DD on new firms.

Not good news for remote work

Just one of the 270 jobs in the 1950 census has been eliminated by automation... elevator operator. Other jobs that were expected to be automated by tech, like bank tellers by ATMs, just shifted the nature of the job. Hopefully, AI follows this pattern. cepr.org/voxeu/columns/…

We cut our SaaS expenses by over 50% and have reduced the number of SaaS vendors by 66% over the last 12 months for one our companies. Don’t see a negative impact in the business from these cuts. Everyone should check their SaaS expenses and make sure they are spending wisely.
