Shocking from Gardener. He was spoken out of a yellow card, which was his first instinct. Weak ref. Steamrolled by those who aren't in charge of the game for a reason. #FRASA

I continue to be astounded by the depths these Springboks go to when required. An absolute privilege to live through this era in Bok rugby.

France weren't good enough to make their advantage tell. The Springboks we miles better when parity was restored. That's what you get from a team that has been required to go to dark places over the last few years. Proud Saffa!

He has had his issues, but Jasper Wiese was immense this evening. Exceptional is every key metric for an 8. May his performance graph soar from hereon out!

The rule is that the obvious action has to clearly impact on the ability of an opponent to play the ball. Donnarumma saw the ball all the way through - even without Robertson ducking - and just couldn’t get there. The fullback’s movement didn’t change anything.
