It's been one year since the gas leak at ConocoPhillips' Alpine Field on the North Slope, spewing 7.2 million cubic feet of methane into the atmosphere. No action has been taken. There've been no public forums. The state of AK is still, apparently, conducting its investigation.

ConocoPhillips and AK delegation are frantically trying to get the Willow project approved while we still have no idea what caused this massive gas leak, also near the village of Nuiqsut, and they rather we forgot about it.
