UPDATE: A re-check of Count 19 is to be undertaken at the request of Kevin Callan (IND), who just 4 votes short of the next lowest candidate, Alison Comyn (FF). This may be the Wee County but this is turning into one of the longest counts in the country! #GE2024 #Louth RTÉ News

Deputy Returning Officer Paddy Donnelly has announced that no discrepancies have been found following a re-check of Count 19. The elimination of Kevin Callan (IND) stands and his 5,682 votes will now be redistributed. #GE2024 #Louth RTÉ News
