GPT is a doomsday for programmers? Asked chatGPT to code simple problem not likely in training set — count ways to place three indistinct markers on 3x3 grid, rotation and flip equivalences counted only once. First code gave 84 (clearly wrong). Second 8 (also clearly wrong). Pft

Another example of chatGPT as a programmer. Asked for a function to compute coefficients of the composition of two polynomials. It produced a python function that doesn't even produce the right order polynomial. Or throws an index out of range exception. Take your pick.
