This is a prime example of how suppliers maximise scope when the project has a weak/non existent client. It’s not just happening on HS2.

Anyone discovered the benefits of using SnakeGrid yet? It appears only track designers benefit from it, so therefore design in snake and export to conventional. Insisting all disciplines work in SnakeGrid is so short sighted.

This website is proving invaluable to assess clashes with old redundant assets. Trace assets of interest and import Lat Long data into your model. First used this on TRU due to huge amount of pile refusals. maps.nls.uk/os/

Guess which road was flooded after ‘major upgrades’ in July. marketingstockport.co.uk/news/major-upg… This is the consequence of MVP.

While the vast majority of rail spending goes on HS2 and TRU, the rest of the infrastructure is in urgent need of TLC. The system is as strong as its weakest link.

Hinkley Point C is set to be the most expensive nuclear plant ever built. The numbers below reveal they spent £700m on fish protection. Based on the latest estimates that’s £280,000 per fish.

After 15 years of #BIM jargon, confusion & over-engineered slide decks, we finally have a book that explains it through something everyone understands: a bike. BIM on a BIKE is now published! Clarity, humour & a cleaner chainline for the whole industry. amzn.eu/d/gUB9GzK

I have a little tool to navigate DGN rail models with ease, providing view control and camera location feedback. Perfect for signal line of sight assessment. BIM Manager, on multi million pound project, is eager to use but PM’s are blocking minimal expenditure.

Those who are still missing the benefits of AI Got a 1.8Gb txt file of X, Y, Z, R, G, B. I need to add an index and include only coords. AI provided script and processed in minutes.

Latest AI use. I have an AGS file containing geotechnical borehole data. Given industry requirements and preferences, GROK has assessed 144 boreholes, interpolated to a given location and suggested foundation types given ground conditions/profiles. All in a few hours.
