We wrapped up spirit week with comfy cozy pjs! The elementary floor also worked to grow Mr. Grinch’s heart by writing acts of kindness down for the month of December!

I had the honour today to visit Madame Ashley Morgan 🍏’s Grade 7 students at Ross Road School to talk about my 25+ year journalism career and my honourary Doctor of Civil Law degree. This is the beautiful quilt the students made for me. This is Madame Morgan pictured with me.

Sherri Borden Colley joined Gr 7s today to discuss African Nova Scotian challenges, past and present. Students were amazed by her bravery and storytelling, and loved hearing Sherri's connection to the community. Thank you, Sherri, you are Black Excellence.
