Just had to call 999 on behalf of someone who’d had their phone stolen in Regents Park. The met police officer who answered couldn’t have been more helpful and empathetic. An excellent sign that law and order is getting back on track. Rachel Blake

I read yesterday that all the Curzon cinemas have been sold off. Many of them are architectural gems, all of them are cultural beacons. I’d say there will be more demolition applications coming our way. Sad.
