Amazing two days The Roebuck School earlier this week delivering The International Thief geography escape room game to KS2 pupils. It was great to see such brilliant staff and pupils enjoying the experience.

Our #forestschool club have been enjoying the lovely weather and the opportunity to get outside and plan some activities we are going to do with some of the younger children over the next few weeks. We also had time to make our own #flowercrowns too. 🌳 🌺

In #Science, Ash Class have started their new topic on #electricity. They have been looking at matching the #symbols to their #components and then working out why some #circuits would not work and fixing them. Great teamwork today Ash class! 🔋 💡

Ash Class had a fantastic time at the Lock Learners workshop this week. They worked in groups to solve ‘The International Thief’ game. Great team work and solving the clues quickly! #escaperoom #geography #learningisfun

In #Geography, Ash Class are starting their topic looking at #human and #physical geography and the distribution of #naturalresources and #tradelinks. They worked in groups to identify where some of our food comes from around the world 🌎

All the Year 6 children enjoyed a visit from the ice-cream van to celebrate the end of SATs week! Well done everyone! 🍦 🎉

#Roman Day was fabulous! Children in Years 3 and 4 spent the day learning about Roman #weapons and #games. Followed by making their own Roman #clay pots. They finished off the day learning about Roman #buildings and ended with an epic Roman #battle! 🏛️🏺🛡️⚔️ #historyinaction

Beech Class worked well as a team, showed their #problemsolving skills and were able to come together as a whole class to crack the case. They found out the International Thief was planning a heist at Roebuck and we captured the crook! 🔐🔑🌎🗺️🕵🏻‍♀️ #escaperoom #puzzles #geography

Birch Class went to the #Science Festival at The University of Central Lancashire - UCLan and they had so much fun and learnt so many new things. The children were impeccably well behaved and an absolute credit to themselves! 🧫🔭🔬⚗️🧬🧪

We had our #Mayan workshops this week. The children learnt even more facts about the Mayans and took part in some #drama workshops and #chocolate tasting. Then we came back to class to look at and #sketch some #artefacts from the Mayan times 🛕🎭🍫 #history

It’s #athletics season and children in Maple Class are getting some practice in before Sports Day! Here they are learning how to throw a #shotput! #physicaleducation
