Comparison doesn’t have to steal our joy. Comparing ourselves to others while celebrating our differences can actually increase our joy. It can help us love the way God made others in ways that are different than us. And, in turn, we learn to love the way God made us.

If you're living in a supposedly secular city, look around you & hear Jesus's words about the harvest being plentiful. The time for bold evangelism is now. Most people will not want to hear. But a surprising number will & it's our job to tell them about Jesus & invite them in.

To entrust the work of the ministry to others requires a deep trust of the Spirit of God in others. If the Spirit can work thru you (thru me?!), then surely He can work in and thru others.

As a pastor one of the saddest things is to see a person pull away from a local church and not realize that they are doing serious harm to numerous brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s as if they’re never read 1 Cor 12. Friends changing churches is never only a “me” decision
