One of the beautiful, albeit difficult, realities in following Jesus is the freedom to admit you are in the wrong and yet still be known and loved as if you are in the right.

This election season reminds of the two groups of 7th grade girls arguing over which boy band is the best… Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC? The obvious answer? Boyz II Men (in a landslide). You have more than two options, my fiends.

Comparison doesn’t have to steal our joy. Comparing ourselves to others while celebrating our differences can actually increase our joy. It can help us love the way God made others in ways that are different than us. And, in turn, we learn to love the way God made us.

As a pastor one of the saddest things is to see a person pull away from a local church and not realize that they are doing serious harm to numerous brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s as if they’re never read 1 Cor 12. Friends changing churches is never only a “me” decision

I cannot wait for y’all to read this book. I had the privilege of taking a look at it several months ago and it’s incredible. A much needed word from a very dear brother.
