Angels Luke Lacourse on entering pro-ball "What excites me the most is the new technology for spin rate and pitch [...] shape. I think they'll do a great job developing me. My overall repertoire will get much better. I can't wait to see what I am as a finished product.”

Angels Luke Lacourse elaborations “[In] college you're more competing for a spot than developing. That was a big part of my decision. When I head down to Tempe I'll be working on myself and not competing for innings already. That will be the best thing for my future.”

Angels Luke Lacourse comes out of HS primed with an elite slider that promises upward growth as he enters Tempe ready to prove to the Angels, and to himself, why there was no better 6th round pick in the 2025 draft. Full quotes inside! AngelsWin.com angelswin.com/blogs/entry/33…

The Angels 2025 draftee TJ Ford has found some influence from Torii Hunter as the draft class gets loose with the org. in Arizona "I can see myself playing like him a lot. I've asked him about the base stealing, the defense, being at the plate and how he thinks during the game"

The Angels 14th round pick TJ Ford has spent the last week getting his pro legs loose in AZ as the Angels pair him, and fellow draft picks, with high value mentorship ready to tap into the highest value of their upside. Full quotes inside! AngelsWin.com angelswin.com/blogs/entry/33…

The Angels most divisive game of the season starts in an hour! They may not offer a consistent product, but they sure do know how to keep it interesting. A win today can turn into big swings at the deadline, and a loss might turn into wins by fire sale 😵‍💫 Light that baby up?

Angels continue to lose the games that matter most (sad!) because of poor defense and awful late inning relief work. If the Angels do buy it needs to be for quality relief and defense. Not saying they should, but a good defensive CF and two quality arms would go a long way.

If the Angels sold all their rentals and some controllable contracts for hauls I would happily watch every game free from the neuroticism of living and dying on every single pitch and every game outcome.

An underrated piece of the Angels future. Walbert Urena has been clicking lately in AA with just 4 runs allowed over his last 16 IP and 15 Ks. Still need to see him settle into this pace, but with time he can develop into a real weapon for the Angels future rotation 🎯

The first thing people will notice about Kent is the obvious strength of his repitoire and ability to utilize it. But he is also flashing a nice glove on the mound. Made three smooth plays for outs tonight including some quick covers at 1B. Gotta love a pitcher that does it all

For those Angels fans hoping for some playoff excitement to look forward to, the Inland Empire 66ers are currently in 1st place in the Cal League for the 2nd half. About four weeks left with some great names (TGA, Jordan, Kent, Alford/Rodrigez) in line for playoff experience!

It sounds like the Angels prep picks this year will be throwing their first bullpens in AZ later next week. The plan is to have them throw three pens before getting into the pitching lab. They'll be seeing their first in-game outings a little after that. Stay tuned!

The Angels are on the verge of sweeping the season series against the defending World Champion Dodgers with a position group made almost entirely of home grown Halos. I don't want to hear anything about the Angels not being able to develop prospects again.

If the Angels can take the momentum from knocking the Dodgers out of 1st into Oakland and sweep the As.... Any chance they can get to cut their WC deficit in half by the start of September will be huge in ensuring these kids play late season, meaningful baseball.

Angels 2B over the last 10 games played. Luis Rengifo: .303/.385/.576 Christian Moore: .179/.303/.250 I love Moore but there is no justification for him getting starts over Rengifo at this point in the season.

Come September (if the Angels continue dropping games) one of Tyler Anderson or Kyle Hendricks needs to be DFA'd for Aldegheri to get starts every 5th day for the rest of the season. I would go as far as considering bringing up Klassen to piggyback just for developments sake
