The Angels most divisive game of the season starts in an hour! They may not offer a consistent product, but they sure do know how to keep it interesting. A win today can turn into big swings at the deadline, and a loss might turn into wins by fire sale 😵‍💫 Light that baby up?

Angels continue to lose the games that matter most (sad!) because of poor defense and awful late inning relief work. If the Angels do buy it needs to be for quality relief and defense. Not saying they should, but a good defensive CF and two quality arms would go a long way.

If the Angels sold all their rentals and some controllable contracts for hauls I would happily watch every game free from the neuroticism of living and dying on every single pitch and every game outcome.

An underrated piece of the Angels future. Walbert Urena has been clicking lately in AA with just 4 runs allowed over his last 16 IP and 15 Ks. Still need to see him settle into this pace, but with time he can develop into a real weapon for the Angels future rotation 🎯

The first thing people will notice about Kent is the obvious strength of his repitoire and ability to utilize it. But he is also flashing a nice glove on the mound. Made three smooth plays for outs tonight including some quick covers at 1B. Gotta love a pitcher that does it all

For those Angels fans hoping for some playoff excitement to look forward to, the Inland Empire 66ers are currently in 1st place in the Cal League for the 2nd half. About four weeks left with some great names (TGA, Jordan, Kent, Alford/Rodrigez) in line for playoff experience!

Come September (if the Angels continue dropping games) one of Tyler Anderson or Kyle Hendricks needs to be DFA'd for Aldegheri to get starts every 5th day for the rest of the season. I would go as far as considering bringing up Klassen to piggyback just for developments sake
