A snippet from a debate on India Ahead News with bhupendra chaubey ji where we debated on why Bengaluru is becoming so unliveable 🙁 On the global liveability index, conducted by The Economist, Bengaluru unfortunately was ranked last among Indian cities. Here's my take on why:

Bangalore is home and my love. But that doesn't mean that I invalidate or refute people's experience of living here and their anger of having to navigate through its infrastructure which quite honestly is in shambles. +

Bangalore is the worst city in the world: 10-month deposits, horrible traffic, potholes, poor infra, airport 100 miles away & now knee-deep waters. What’s even this place? Time to pack our bags and move back to wherever we have come from, folks.

To all my friends who are checking if I am safe, only a portion of Bengaluru is submerged and not the entire city as news channels would have you believe.

Let us begin with the first, more cutting edge problem. Today we face a peculiar problem of a discussion paralysis in the world. We are hyper aware of current events and controversies, and at the same time utterly confused about how to manage disagreements on practical issues.

Rule: Never take advice from people on the sidelines. It's easy to stand on the sidelines. It's hard to stand in the arena. It's scary to put yourself out there—it's a dark and lonely at times. When you're in the arena, never take advice from the people on the sidelines.

I get provoked when I see a govt ad or hoarding designed for self promotion. IMO, it is gross abuse of power - party leveraging access to public money. If this abuse can be measured as x, then the abuse of power using ED/IT to threaten & acquire opposition leaders is 10000x
