"Words can’t do justice to this horrific case and to the trauma Sarah and Jack have had to endure,” Wes Streeting said. “My heart goes out to them" He will travel to Nottingham to meet families later this month.

🚨 A report submitted to Thirlwall Inquiry this week tried to debunk the recent medical expert report for Lucy Letby's defence and criticises the tactics of her legal team. My report on another twist in the #lucyletby saga: thetimes.com/article/a7c70c…

Missed diagnosis almost cost me my daughter’s life (even after two trips to an and e in an ambulance) at the age of 2. Please please please take 5 mins out of your evening to follow these steps and help future families and young people that go through the worst imaginable shite!!

How could a police investigation into Nottingham baby deaths stop staff talking openly when they never really started? A huge part of NUH maternity failings has been a culture of lies and cover ups. Jeremy should know this as he was told it directly by families when he was

As was pointed out so powerfully by Pete Weatherby KC yesterday, governments thrive and rely (and indeed foment) campaigner fragmentation. Coalescence is crucial here. It’s flawed but the Inquires Act 2005 probably is the only option

Whilst people are entitled to dismiss the words of a lawyer on this issue, I could not agree more. The time has come for a public and transparent inquiry into maternity safety. This can only be achieved through a statutory inquiry whatever the flaws in that process

Maternity safety starts with truth. Wes Streeting’s words yesterday are welcome, but change needs courage, honesty, and action. Not by just 10 trusts, but by the whole of maternity services. #MaternitySafety #WomensHealth #NHS #PatientSafety

NHS 10-year-plan is hugely ambitious - touches almost all of healthcare - but as Wes Streeting imposes tough financial cuts on ICBs & hospitals - the risk is weakening the delivery mechanisms he needs. He may pull the lever in Whitehall to find its not connected to anything.

Wes Streeting The Guardian Unfortunately if you are a father harmed by the NHS and suffer a psychiatric injury due to neglect your not seen as equal. This massive injustice in equality needs to be rectified to ensure true fairness and family values #nationalbereavedparentsday BabyLossDaddy QLP
