The saddest of news, I’m gutted. John has always been part of my life from Radio Trent, GEM AM, Saga, BoomRadioUK and all the others in between. Broadcasting , Music and the people of the East Midlands have lost a friend. Rest In Peace John Peters. ❤️

On Sunday, we celebrate the life of dear John Peters. The first Vintage Chart at noon is from 1966 - the last programme John prepared. Then David Lloyd takes over with the hits from 1972 - including snippets of the younger John!

Valley Road is completely closed both ways from the City Hospital Island down to the Nottingham Road junction. The cars are still blocking the carriageway nearly opposite Western Valley Stores so it won’t reopen for some time. #Nottingham
