This computer case has 4.8 stars on @Amazon with over SIXTEEN THOUSAND reviews. Impossible to fake that many reviews, right? Wrong!

Embarrassing, Amazon. This humidifier gets the "Amazon's Choice" badge, a 5-stars w/ 7,000+ ratings, but the reviews are for an AMAZON BASICS POWER STRIP!

At first glance, this Mini Bag Sealer on Amazon looks promising. 4.5 stars w/ 1,627 ratings. HOWEVER, ReviewMeta.com gives it a 1-STAR rating with 3 reviews. Why? Because all but 3 reviews are for the WRONG PRODUCT. And all 3 reviews are 1-stars.

It does not get more blatant than this. @Amazon sellers literally paying people for 5-star reviews.

After a 7-year legal battle, the court rules in favor of the plaintiff. Consumers get nothing though, and Amazon can keep on displaying false reviews.

A ReviewMeta visitor just sent this image to me. A note included in her purchase, offering $15 for a 5-star review and instructing you NOT to tell anyone about it. Just wow.
