Working on another project related to ACE, this time involving gen 3 games! Still need to make a cool POC and verify my current setup on hardware, but it's looking good so far.

jorikdevreese.com/index.php/2024… Been a while, was busy with making Wonder Card ACE easier. But here's the writeup explaining how I hacked GBA save files with ACE in gen 4 games Pokémon games. It's honestly a fairly simple concept. It also explains how I made ACE persist through reboot.

A nice upgrade to ACE: a simple payload that lets you connect to your PC with a custom GTS server, and send any code to instantly execute it. You no longer have to enter any code manually on the DS. Here I used it to give myself all items.

Dumping the entire main memory, save file and ROM as a fun side quest, through pure ACE/RCE. I could increase packet size, but something about this taking 5 hours to dump sounds fun to me.
