The Head of Operations ,Mr. Deo Bashokwire, welcomed Japanese parliamentarian M. Aisawa Ichiro, alongside a representative from the Ambassade du Japon au Cameroun 在カメルーン日本国大使館 M. Aoki. Together,they explored opportunities for strengthening UNHCR-Japan relations to enhance support for refugees.

UNHCR Cameroon and Plan International Cameroon marked a successful Back to School campaign at the Yaoundé 5 Council! Running all through the month of August in the cities of Yaounde and Douala,the campaign has as goal to increase the rate of enrollment of refugee boys and girls in school by 5%.
