RB. What an exciting Christmas party week! Here are some more highlights. A huge thank you for all the cards, presents and kind wishes. We hope you all have a joyful and peaceful Christmas from Mrs Belshaw, Mrs Burgess and Miss D’Cruze.

RC enjoyed Christmas dinner on Tuesday! It was delicious.

What a lovely surprise having Father Christmas visit us in school yesterday! It was so magical. RC are ready for Christmas!

RC had lots of fun playing different party games yesterday. We had the best day ever!

RB. We have been enjoying investigating snow today. We painted the snow and watched what happened when we added warm water.

CRC have enjoyed being back in class today. We have shared our holiday news, explored the snow and ice and started investigating our new Superhero topic.

RC are enjoying their new topic all about Superhero’s. They have used the message centre to take messages to go and help people, used their imaginations for role play and been busy counting and using number recognition in the Maths area.

RC have enjoyed reading stories about superheroes in our reading corner. They have also been busy designing their own superhero masks.

RB. We have had a great time making superhero worlds for our mini me to explore!

RC have enjoyed using the junk modelling area today to create gadgets for their Superhero’s.

RC came into class to find that their favourite superhero’s had been tied up! They used their fine motor skills to rescue them. They have also been phoneme spotters reading Monster Phonics books and writing words with the “ee” grapheme in linking to this week’s learning.

RC have been busy creating beautiful art work this week by painting Chinese blossom trees.

RC have enjoyed exploring the different ways of making the number 5 this week. They have also worked on understanding and representing 0 to 5.
