that book was bad, and we - as a public - should be mad at how bad it was

I’m highly suspicious of a certain genre’s physical depictions of the men typically being ‘very tan/golden brown’ and ppl implying it’s representation whereas I’m pretty sure the characters r actually just tan white dudes but the author won’t admit it outright

never fails to piss me off when an adult reviews a YA book as being “too young adult”, like it’s a bad thing!!!!!!! first of all, you were not the intended audience!!
