Did you know that one of the groups found a leach doing pond dipping! When we were doing the sensory trail, you had to wear a blindfold. Thank you Nower Wood because I think we all had an amazing time. - Alexandra 2 Pine. 2/2

Yesterday, to mark Intergenerational Week, Y2 went to Limegrove. We sang songs from our music festival. It was nice talking to the people who live there and hearing what life was like when they were younger. Someone told me they fell in the Thames! Thank you for having us! JoshY2

"The Horsley Hustle", a free fun run for the whole family, regardless of age or ability, will be hosted at West Horsley Place on Sunday 2nd June. It was a huge success last year with plenty of Raleigh families attending. Registration is now live!

A special mention also to Rory and Amelie who both won the Organiser's Choice award. Well done to all of the Raleigh children in KS2 who entered (over 100!) and to those who were highly commended by the judges. 2/2

The School Council visited Green Oak Park this morning to learn about sustainable building. They also helped to place big hotels around the site and began to build their own bird boxes ready for a design competition later in July.

Year 6 really enjoyed making scones (a huge thanks to Mr Broughton!) for the annual Strawberry Cream Tea. They did an excellent job of running the event, so we had our own little cream tea the following day as a treat!

What an incredible day (and evening) celebrating Year 6’s time at Raleigh. A simply incredible performance arranged by Guildford Shakespeare Company. A day we will never forget 😍
