📢 Attention all research scholars! 📢 DSTIndia has been playing games with us, withholding the release of the memorandum to divert our attention from the 60% fellowship hike we deserve. But we won't be fooled! We demand transparency and justice for our hard work and innovative

Two important take aways for me: 1. Pull up the standard of 2nd tier institutions/universities. More uniformity in quality will allow absorbing more students. 2. Top institutions must start dedicated & comprehensive teacher training programs. V. Ramgopal Rao, Ph.D. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/voices/w…

If you really want to help the research in India, please scrap PMRF. It is creating inequality in the labs for the same work. Even trained postdocs are earning less than the PMRFs, who are untrained student... how can this be justified!! timesnownews.com/education/pm-r…

Are metal‐halide #perovskite solar cells truly radiation-tolerant? 🤔 Our new Joule paper highlights that while rapid self-healing via electron–phonon coupling is impressive, lattice softness may be a vulnerability under ionizing radiation. URL: authors.elsevier.com/a/1khA9925JEVN…

What happened in IISER Kolkata is both heartbreaking and worrying. We need to be more sympathetic and vigilant. Time to monitor mental wellness in educational institutions more systematically by dedicated team of trained professionals, rather than committees of Professors.
