Today, the babies at Birling Road have been getting creative using natural resources to do some Easter printing. We have also been expanding our vocabulary by naming the colours and textures in the sensory bags. 🌈

Today at Birling Road the 3-5s have been number counting with spaghetti and Cheerios. We made birthday cakes, sang happy birthday to each other, discussed how old we are and then made lollipops out of pasta and play doh.

Today in the 2-3's at Birling Road, we have been making Easter cornflake cakes. The children helped mix the ingredients and counted how many eggs they put on.

The children at Little Forest today have been using a range of everyday materials they have been collecting at nursery to create a range of different models. We thought about what we could use to hold the models together some of us used sellotape, glue or masking tape.

The 3-5s at Birling Road have been making ladybirds using apples, googly eyes and their fingers for the spots. They discussed where ladybirds live, how many legs they have and what the spots mean on their backs.
