Athletes of the Week for last week, 9/29-10/3 were Paige Volpe and Pete Jackson. Paige, a Fr. Cross Country runner, and ran her best race of the year last week at the Statesville Soccer Complex. Pete, a Sr. Football player, played all but 5 snaps in the game last Friday Night

Congratulations to our Women’s Tennis Team on their 1st Rd State Playoff Victory over Freedom. They’ll be back in action on Wednesday vs. Northern Guilford. Time and Location TBD!

Volleyball opponent is set. We will be host the T.C. Roberson Rams on Tuesday, 10/21, in the 2nd Round of the NCHSAA 6A Playoffs. Match time is 6:00pm. Admission is $10.00

Athlete of the Week for 10/13-10/17 is Women’s Tennis player Barrett Williams. Barrett won both of her playoff matches this week. In Round 1 she defeated her opponent from Freedom, and in Round 2 was our only winner vs. Northern Guilford.

MOVING ON!!! Men’s Soccer defeats Piedmont 1-0 to advance to Round 2 of the NCHSAA 6A State playoffs. They will play at Watauga on Thursday at 7:00pm.
