I was honoured to officiate at the opening ceremony of the 11th International Cryptococcus & Cryptococcosis Conference. I congratulate Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University & Makerere University College of Health Sciences for hosting the conference for the first time in Africa. The keynote address by Dr. Chiller of CDC was informative.
