Results are in. 3 out of 5 battery packs measure over 80% advertised capacity, the other 2 are around 70%. Not amazing, not terrible. I also have brand new cells to fully repack the remaining 2 packs that had dead cells in them (don't want to mix old and new). I'll take it.

Seriously, if you're a maker looking to build out your basic tools, buying used/broken and repairing them is a great way to pick up stuff outside of your price range and end up with much better gear than if you'd bought cheaper models new at the same price.
