We are deeply saddened to learn of artist Yolanda Lopez's passing. Her powerful work confronted stereotypes, celebrated womanhood, and championed workers. We share our sincere condolences with her family and friends. ¡Yolanda Lopez, presente!

The main takeaways from this week were that public historians need to connect with the community and collect history ethically. I enjoyed reading about the SNCC legacy project and Duke University collaborating together to accurately retell the story of SNCC. 1/4 #osuph
