Today a session on Promoting Legal Awareness for Animal Welfare was conducted at PTC by Arunachal Dog & Cat Rescue Team. Dr. Asher R Jesudoss, Adv. Executive Member, DAWB elucidated on the issue and also legal power of police in regard to animal protection & rights were imparted.

Midterm Test of 49th Batch Recruits# Midterm test serves as an assessment tool designed to evaluate the Trainees’ understanding of key concepts, strategies and skills covered in the first half of a training course. It plays a pivotal role in preparing the trainees for the future.

Along with rest of the country Police Training Centre Banderdewa celebrated the 78th Years of Independence Day with enthusiasm & gaiety. The day was marked with games and sports within the Trainees & Staff of PTC. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!

First ever in Police Training Centre, Banderdewa, an exposure tour for the trainees have been given to Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. A total 407 Recruit Constable of the 49th Batch had this privilege on the first day of the tour on 19 Aug’24

On the 2nd and final day i.e 20th Aug’24 of first ever exposure tour a total of 440 Recruit Constables had the privilege to tour the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The tour has immensely benefited them about the characteristics & functions of the Legislative Assembly.

One week training of the B.Sc Final year of Forestry NERIST begins today. It commenced with an introductory session at conference hall followed by weapon class. Along with imparting Basic Training to newly recruits, PTC has always been in service of the State.

A 5-Day Advanced Level Cyber Forensics Training Program was conducted by CDAC Kolkata & NIELIT Itanagar at PTC B/dewa w.e.f 02/09/2024. 30 officers from various districts of the State participated &were imparted practical training on Cybercrime Investigation & Cyber Forensics.

After two weeks Midterm Break, the 49th Batch Recruit Constables have returned back to PTC Banderdewa to continue with their Basic Training. Both Indoor and Outdoor Training has began.

2 days course on the topic “Emergency Relief Assistant in natural calamities and Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting” was conducted by SDRF & F&ES, Itanagar at PTC Banderdewa, w.e.f 10/09/24 for the ongoing 49th Batch Recruit Constables.

Observing the campaign “SWACHHATA HI SEWA”, Police Training Centre staff in collaboration with Banderdewa Karsingsa Youth Welfare Association, Corporator Ward No. 20 and Banderdewa Bazar Welfare Committee conducted a Mass Social Service from PTC to Banderdewa town.

In a move to keep the earth green a “Go Green” campaign was launched 2 years back and 29th Sept’2024 marked the completion of planting more than 10,000 plus saplings of different varieties. The campaign began under the abled leadership of Neha Yadav, IPS, Principal PTC Banderdewa

On the auspicious occasion of National Blood Donation Day 2024 jointly organised by Arunachal Pradesh Police & Arunachal Life Saving Foundation a total of around 40 Recruit Constables of the 49th Batch participated at DK Convention Hall, IG Park Itanagar.

Celebrating Gandhi Jayanti on the 2nd Oct’24, the Police Training Centre Staff along with the 49th Batch Recruit Constables under the guidance & supervision of Principal PTC and DySP (Trg) PTC Banderdewa organised a “Walkathon” from PTC to Karsingsa Health Centre.

Arunachal Pradesh Police observes Police Commemoration Day at PTC Banderdewa on 21st Oct 24, honouring the supreme sacrifices of the brave soldiers. A solemn ceremony was held paying tribute to the brave police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

Final Indoor and Outdoor Test begins for the 49th Batch Recruit Constables. Ever since joining for the Basic Training on 5th March 2024, they have come a long way. The test is crucial as the result and the marks obtained will determine their seniority ranking. Best Wishes to all.
