One can not be stubborn and open minded at the same time. Those traits can not co-exist.

He benched him on principle than anything else. No way you give him a leash that short unless you were looking for a reason to pull on it,

JJ got to swallow his stupid god damn pride and let Hayes play. Luka needs him out there on both ends, we can’t grab a defensive rebound and have no one outside of Bron who is even capable of making a defensive play in the paint.

Austin with 9 points and 4 turnovers and 0/0/0/0 rebounds/assists/steals/blocks. 1-6 from 3. He picked an awful time to completely forget that he’s a good player.

Absolutely took a giant dump on himself. This better be that turning point for him. On a scale of 1-1000, he was beneath a zero.

It doesn’t matter if it happened this game or next one. You were not going anywhere with this version of JJ as your coach. He completely lost all trust in himself & with it his own team. You saw the team fracture right in front of us. If JJ doesnt learn from this, he’ll be gone.

I don’t want to hear another thing about “chip on Luka’s shoulder”. If he gave a shit about how he looked, he would actually get in real shape and move his feet, instead of being used as target practice for every single offense. If this isn’t a wake up call for him then… 🤷🏻‍♂️
