Eventful first pelagic with some people suffering from bad sea sickness. Very rough conditions. Fin Whale, loads of Common Dolphin swimming really close, 30+ Storm Petrel, Manx Shearwaters & 2 Yellow-legged Gull

Very impressed with this moth trap set up in Church Cove, Lizard.

Food at Chimichangas in Lizard & then an afternoon walk was interrupted by escaped cows in the mist. Love the sound of the fog horn in the background.

Only 14 of 11 in the trap over night. Shuttle-shaped Dart & Ruby Tiger new for the garden. Willow Warbler singing in the garden was also a new bird for the garden list

Half a day birding in South Devon finally got my 1st Green Sandpiper of the year at Exminster Marshes. Wood Sandpiper & Garganey also seen there. No sign of the Purple Heron though. Also dipped Cirl Bunting at a site I normally get them.

A wet stomp around the patch saw me rewarded with a young Redstart on Mill lane this morning. 7 Gadwall, Kingfisher, 2 Swallow, 23 House Martin, Cetti’s Warbler, Willow Warbler, 11 Chiffchaff, 5 Blackcap & Whitethroat also seen. SwiWildlifeSightings
