Thanks to ⁦Shakespeare B Trust⁩ for bringing Shakespeare’s heritage to local railway stations but I’d like to see ‘the fat ale-wife of Wincot (Wilmcote)’, Marian Hacket, honoured by name in the Induction to Taming of the Shrew, also named here.

Today we say a fond farewell to Richard Lewis, who has been our Heritage and Culture Service Manager (Collections) for just over 6 years. Richard is leaving for pastures new in Staffordshire. All the best Richard!
