Today's meeting has now commenced with the first agenda item, violence against women, including recent femicide cases. Commissioner Harris and his colleagues are currently responding to questions on this topic and the work they are doing in this area.

The meeting has now moved on to the next agenda item, Economic crime - Section 19 referrals by banking institutions to the Garda Síochána. The Garda Síochána are now giving an overview of the topic and the issues that have arisen.

The discussion has moved to Policing Services for Children & Young People. Helen Hall began the discussion by asking about the development of a Young Persons Plan. Authority member Paul Mageean is now asking about the progress in responding to the crime of child sexual abuse

The final agenda item is Policing Performance. The Authority will ask the Garda Síochána about reflections on their performance in 2024 and the commitments to the public and to Garda personnel in the 2025 Policing Plan
