I am still feeling elated in my home office, as I have officially been appointed to be the European Central Bank President. I have tweeted my sincere thanks and will continue to celebrate today. I will make many thanks to those who have helped me along the way to get where I am.

I am working on stating my gratitude for the United Nations. They officially began 74 years ago, and I could not have received my new job as ECB President without its appointment. Thank you so much Plaid EU because you do such important work including electing me for my job.

I am working on how to address the serious threats of nationalism to the world economy. I have given my view in a CBS interview this week, but that is not enough. More people need to speak out about the rising issue that is at hand. The global recession risk is real and rising.
