This picture is of tonight’s dusk on our organic farm, looking out over the world-famous glacial soils of the Kansas River Valley. Our farm grew the first dehydrated #wheatgrass for humans in 1932. It was used for the medical research that inspired Ann Wigmore & other authors.

The first picture is sowing red clover seed into light snow on a wheatgrass field. The leaves are only 1 inch tall, but the roots go down more than a foot into rich glacial soil. The second picture is mixing the cover into the soil in the fall after a summer of fixing nitrogen.

Here is a happy boy with two bags of cereal grass pellets for his family in the mountains of Guatemala. We have provided over ten million servings of Pines Wheat Grass and other greens to impoverished people in Africa, Central America, and the United States during our 46 years.

Here's what happens to a #PinesWheatGrass tablet 15 minutes after adding a few drops of water. It swells to 12 times its original size. The same thing happens to the powder to a smoothie. Adding Pines to your diet provides precisely what is missing from 90% of American diets.

One of our farm dogs, Ginger, is checking the amount of rain we received over the weekend. Our wheatgrass now has the moisture to grow from the 1-inch shoots and two-foot deep roots into seven-inch lush dark green vegetation at the once-a-year peak of nutrition later in April.

Since 1932, our farm has produced the highest quality wheatgrass, barley grass, & alfalfa as human food. Packaging is also important. We use amber glass bottles, NEVER plastic. The tight seal in metal caps allows us to remove the oxygen to keep our greens fresh & nutrient-dense.

In addition to summarizing the research on cereal grass and other dark green leafy vegetables, the 133-item bibliography lists some of the research papers by Charles Schnabel, the father of wheatgrass, and other scientists and medical researchers. cerophyl.net/cereal-grass/

This week we are harvesting barley grass at the peak of nutrition, known as the jointing stage. When grown outdoors, cereal grasses such as #wheatgrass and #barleygrass grow slowly to build nutrition to supply the grain that will soon develop. #greensuperfood #plantbased

Recently, the man in the Strawberry super moon rose above a forested bluff on our farm. It's called the Strawberry moon because June is the peak for strawberries. It's called a super moon because it's within 90% of the closest approach & appears 17% bigger & 30% brighter. #vegan

Like many dogs, cats, and other pets, Callaway loves his #PinesWheatGrass tablets. Rather than tablets, some pets prefer Pines’ cereal grass powders mixed into their wet food. #dogtreats #wheatgrass

We rotate our certified organic wheatgrass and barley grass with certified organic soybeans, which are grown without chemical poisons. Rather than contaminating the food with Round-Up herbicide, we use mechanical cultivators and hand labor to remove weeds. #soybeans #organic

Their favorite is the most nutritious: young cereal grass at the peak of nutrition. At that stage, #PinesWheatGrass & #PinesBarleyGrass nutritional level is so high that a rounded teaspoon of the powder or 7 tablets is equivalent to a serving of spinach or kale. #wheatgrass

We introduced the 1st green superfood to the modern Natural Food Market in 1976 in oxygen-free glass bottles. We've never used plastic! We grow our grasses with the same standards as the original product from our farm, Cerophyl, introduced in 1932 as "amazing grass." #wheatgrass

A serving of spinach costs $1.50. A nutritionally equal serving of Pines costs as little as 25 cents! We put a serving of spinach in a blender to compare it to a seven-tablet serving of #PinesWheatGrass. Tablets turn dark green and expand 12 times when wet.
