🇨🇦 Inflation rose 2.4 % year-over-year in Sept 2025 (up from 1.9 %). 📈 BC’s CPI trend continues to mirror Canada’s — stable but above target. 🏠 With underlying inflation ~ 2.5 % and weak economic conditions, a Bank of Canada rate cut may be on the horizon before year-end.

🏛️ Burnaby Council has revised its R1 SSMUH zoning report — a Public Hearing will now be held after all. 📢 This update aligns with what was promised at the OCP hearing earlier this month. Plans submitted before Oct 22 aren’t affected, but those after may face a temporary hold.
