Framework solves many but not all the practical Brexit problems for NI eg taking cattle to and back from Britain remains an issue. Operationally gives a sensible Brexit to most farmers and supply lines from Britain to NI. The politics is another story

A good exchange with Jack Kennedy of Irish Farmers Journal this morning. I discussed importance of productive & sustainable farming for 🇮🇪 economy and 🇪🇺 food security. I also welcomed (& will pay close attention to) Ireland's new Agri-Food Regulator, to ensure fair supply chains.
